Why did Hitler want to take over so many countries?

In my opinion, Hitler wanted to expand power for many reasons. He wanted to prove his power to everyone in Europe, he wanted to be "great" in the poeple's eyes. Hitler also wanted to make all of Europe the German race. The German race was the only race he wanted in Germany. He also wanted as much land to execute as many Jews as he could. That is why I think Hitler wanted to take over countries around Germany.
