Did the Turks commit genocide to the Armenians?

I believe the young Turks definately commited genocide to the Armenians. I do not understand why the Turks think that they can deny and hide such things. They deported innocent poeple becuase of their religion and killed and tortured poeple for being Christians. The young Turks did all of the predictable steps to genocide. They are too ashamed to let the world know the truth of the crimes they committed. If WWII is considered a genocide, then so is what happened to the Armenians. Anyway, Hitler seemed to get alot of his ideas from the Young Turks. Killing poeple for not being  muslims is considered genocide. Sorry Turkey.

How/Why did the Germans go to such lengths to destroy Britain?

The Germans wanted to defeat Britian so they could take over Europe. Also to take over Suez Canal. Germany would track British ships and disguis themselves to be from the Britian navy. This leading to defeating Britian's navy. Britian then decided to call Japan for help. So Japan seized Germany's resources. This made Germany mad. They wanted to herass Britians, but they did not have enough troops. So Germany brought in Turkey to help fight.

How was WW1 a Global War?

The war became a "global" war when Germany decided they wanted world domination, they wanted a new devision of the world. Germany began fighting countries which caused allies to join. Making more wars and battles with countries helping each other out. Then, Germany tried to capture Boston, wanting New York. Germany also wanted Peru. They got Africa on their side. Having African's apart of the war. Then British needed more troops adding Japan to the war. And so on. This war was ONE country looking for power and looking all over the world for it.

German's actions towards Belgium's People

When we were learning about how the German's treated people, it was ridiculous. The people of Belgium are one example. The German's would raid homes and steal valuables for no reason. That isn't fair of them at all, especially since they're actually winning the war at that time. The German's would make people come out of their homes just because and put people in consontration camps because they felt like it. Belgium is a little country that had no hope to beat Germany. It really was not Germany's place to take control and treat the people like dirt. I thought that was very unfair and not good on the German's part.

Who started World War 1?

In my oppinion, Germany was the main cause of world war 1 because they had dictators as leaders. Bismark and Kaiser. It all started with Germany wanting more land and starting problems with each country. They fought France for no reason. This causing the countries to find allies and start to be scared. Then, Germany decided to start building a large army. That caused the other countries to become frightened and gang up. People think Austria-Hungary is the cause, but A-H only made all of those problems for Serbia because they had Germany to back them up. Again, Germany is the start.

Otto Van Bismark: German hero or comparable to Hitler?

In my opinion, Bismark was a little bit of both. He was a chancellor and caused a lot of issues in Europe. He also started the unneeded war in France, starving a ton of French. He took over land from people and was all about fighting. On the other hand, he made some good agreements. I don't think anyone can really compare to Hitler or be as bad as Hitler.
